Accommodation

Our apartment just off the main square in the centre of the old town and a stones throw from the beaches of Boramar and St Vincent. Is in a classic former 18th Century merchant's house with balconies and original french shuttered windows. The unusual ironwork on the stairs was made by the blacksmith who once owned the house and had a forge on the ground floor.
Our 3 bedroom, 3rd floor apartment has been completely modernised, with a brand new fitted kitchen, light open plan dining/lounge area, galleried staircases and rooftop terrace. The whole flat has been painted white which gives it a lovely bright feel.  The light, views and welcome breeze from the flat are wonderful. Well worth the walk up the 3 flights!

Kitchen
The kitchen is a modern, fully fitted with washing machine, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, electric oven, gas/electric hob, microwave and toaster. Very well stocked with all you will need for your stay, including iron, ironing board and vacuum cleaner. The dining area has a table that seats 6 comfortably should you decide that you want to cater at the apartment, rather than going out to one of the many excellent restaurants in Collioure. There is also plenty of modern crockery, glasses and serving dishes.

Lounge/Dining
The kitchen, lounge and dining area are all part of one large, light and airy space that stretches the full width of the building.  There are two south facing french windows with traditional balconies which have views to the beach of Boramar and the Place 18 Juin. Many events and ceremonies are held in the Place and the balconies make great observation spots. Up a small winding stair and accessed through a low door is the roof terrace. The terrace has spectacular views all around the bay to the hills beyond.

This room also has a washbasin.

On your arrival you will find your beds freshly made. A welcome pack including local wine and flowers. For your peace of mind our agent is on call 24 hours a day for emergency maintenance and property support.
The apartment is in a simple modern style with an eccletic mix of furnishings.  It is designed for comfortable relaxation. There is electric heating for the colder months. It is also close to all the activities and local shops in the town; there is a little mini market on the corner immediately below selling local fresh fruit and vegetables, along with regional wines and specialities.
We try to keep the apartment stocked with a variety of books, guides and a few games.  There is a TV/DVD player and a radio with CD. Occasionally it does rain in Collioure!  For those who need to have access to the internet there is free BROADBAND WIFI available.
If you bring young children we ask that you keep them under supervision at all times when they are on the roof terrace. We would be grateful if you would respect the privacy and comfort of neighbours, like many
old French towns the buildings are built close together.
Unfortunately the apartment is not suitable for pets, and we request no smoking.
